Ohh good to know about the female condom is effective for sex that isn’t just PV sex!
@aphrodite9 Wow that is pretty pricey though! Also, have you found scissoring effective? I’ve not had much luck with pleasure in that position. Maybe the female condom could help, if it improves sensitivity? Hmm,,
Its ok, id never thought about it either till it was a possiblity it would happen to me. i guess its not really something that you think about or isnt the forefront of thoughts when it comes to surgical procedures.weve already been pretty thorough in going through medications etc at my last consult and will again a few days before…[Read more]
@aphrodite9 Glad you found it informative! Yeah I definitely agree that it’s quite pricey and a bit difficult to purchase as most people who have to go out of their way.
Keen to hear about your experience with it if you try it! 😄
Thank you so much for clarifying everything @aphrodite9! It’s good to know there’s a distinction between screening tests and diagnostic tests – I never knew!
I don’t think it’s fair tbh. I agree that it would be beneficial for deterring unnecessary testing from happening but what if you couldn’t afford the test? I think it should be up to the…[Read more]
@aphrodite9 that is such a good thorough answer, thank you! answered questions I didn’t even know I had, and I thought the government was coming at the change from quite a different perspective. Personally I’m lucky that I’m able to pay for tests, which I get more regularly than recommended despite being under 25 because of a family history, but…[Read more]
@tea, nipples are extremely sensitive to temperature & touch. Any stimulation can make them erect, including clothes. Nipple piercings increase the sensitivity. This is completely normal. @aphrodite9 is right in that no two nipples are the same. However any changes in the skin, painful swelling or nipple discharge should be checked by a doctor.
@goldenrose Yeah bodies are so freaking cool!! Getting into climbing definitely made me appreciate the human body a lot more – it’s so amazing what kinds of positions we can get into! (and so diverse haha)!
@aphrodite9 visual meditation is sooo good, actually, I’m a huge fan of any meditation. I’m so glad you found something that works for you!
@catdog yeah I definitely agree that there has to be a place for both! And I can see what you mean by it being much harder to appreciate something that isn’t too visible and taking it for granted sometimes, like sometimes when I’m tired and I have to walk somewhere and complain to myself but I really should be grateful that I have the ability to…[Read more]
I’m right there with you @aphrodite9 – I will almost always get up to pee after sex!
Sometimes, especially if you’re already in bed and sleepy, it can be a bit of a pain…but I’d rather that than the pain of a UTI!
Vaginal itch is really, really common. There are 10,000 nerve endings in the vagina which make it sensitive. You’re right @aphrodite9 many things can cause an itch. Women always have a little bit of candida or yeast in the vagina, however it may overgrow when ‘healthy’ bacteria is damaged. Thrush is not an STI. @goldenrose it’s usually caused by…[Read more]
oh my @tea I have had thrush a handful of times and I have definitely found the itchiness pretty unbearable on occasion – that’s when I will go to the doctor or get the over the counter treatment at the pharmacy (combined tablet and cream) and that really helps clear it up.
@aphrodite9 I wouldn’t worry about cloudy urine alone. The main thing is pain when you wee & feeling the need to go more frequently. UTIs are caused by bacteria that gets into the urethera (the hole where wee comes out — not the vagina). Sometimes sex will trigger it just because of the moving around of bodies & fluids & rubbing… all that…[Read more]
Great question @aphrodite9! I love how on top of your sexual health you are with monitoring your symptoms and being aware of UTI’s in the first place
They are quite common and even if you haven’t had any other symptoms if you suspect a UTI, I think it would be best to visit your GP just to be safe and get things checked out!
As for preventing…[Read more]
@aphrodite9 I’m so glad you’ve found comfort in posts like this one! I’m bisexual too and yeah daily struggles with accepting my sexuality!
Absolutely loooove Nanette, though it got super heavy at the end! Had a good cry but wow so so powerful!
