Hey @nurse_nettie I love that video! Thanks for sharing 🙂 Do you have any tips for doing a breast check for someone with implants? I guess the principle is the same but I find it hard to do such a thorough check when there’s something in the way haha.

Hi @nurse_nettie, thanks so much for that information. I will definitely get myself to the GP for a check up. I’ve had friends say it took them a few months to get back to regular periods after coming off the pill but my last was the 31st August so it is over the 3 month mark now.

I don’t think I could be pregnant so hopefully it’s my hormones adjusting.

I was looking to get it on the same arm as the implant. I’ll just warn the artist that I have the implant, and make sure the tattoo doesn’t go too close to the implant.

Hmm, that’s something to think about. Is getting it on the ‘front’ of the arm a safe enough distance between the implant and a tattoo, or should I just avoid the entire bicep/tricep area?

If I don’t pee after sex I almost always get one or if I go a long time without going to the bathroom I get similar, more mild symptoms. I know what you mean about not wanting to get up straight after but I would rather that than to be in pain later.

I understand that sexual health testing is only being offered to people who have symptoms or are from higher risk groups so if you don’t have symptoms you shouldn’t go to your clinic and order an online test instead.
