I love the new changes, though I never used Instagram much myself – I think it’s really important in helping young people from engaging in ‘comparison culture’ too much.
One thing that I’ve noticed since the removal of likes is that every third post is an advertisement and because of the removal of likes they blend into your feed more easily – I’ve nearly like sponsored posts on a couple of occasions and I’m like ‘you tricky lil operator Zuckerberg’. I am cynical about the motive and think it has to do with…[Read more]
I think a really big part of it comes down to communication, which sextronaut covered really well.
– Share expectations and talk about things quickly so resentment doesn’t build up.
– Try not to assign values to things they do/don’t do (Like Will’s partner saying his not doing up the quilt was…[Read more]
I’ve also fallen off the wagon @will, and struggling to find something that works for my schedule that I really love and will stick to. I reeeeaally want to try pilates but the gyms in sydney are so expensive. Does anyone have any ideas on how to try it out cheaply?
Oh wow was an amazing thread this has turned into!! Thanks for sharing your story, everyone! I’m so happy to hear we’re all on our own journey of self discovery.
Thank you so much for sharing your story @will! I’m glad you were able to find a better place within yourself to be more ‘you’ even if that can take some time. That group session sounds so good!! I’ll have to have a look into that – I’m sure there are spaces like Twenty10 who would run something similar, but not too sure. I’ll look into it some…[Read more]
Wow 6 days a week @will ! How long were your sessions? Have you considered trying an alternative style gym?
I go to a bouldering gym, which is great if bouldering works out for you (if you haven’t heard of it/tried it, it’s like rock-climbing but without ropes!) I go to nomad – and it’s great because they’re local, have a regular gym section and…[Read more]
@will Thank you so much! This makes me feel a lot better about my outbreaks! They seemed to have calmed down for now but I’ll keep in mind to be a bit cautious when they’re out and about!

Had to look up the term of a penis cramp and what it consists of and I can confirm it’s totally a thing. Had it happen a few times but never to the point where I had burst a blood vessel down there.
All my injuries related to sex are from silly things like slipping over whilst trying to do it in the shower etc.
Holy moly accidental anal. I had…[Read more]
I think friendships are just a type of relationship anyway, so having a ‘break-up’ in that sense is just necessary sometimes. People can grow apart, people can change, people can no longer be good for you. I think it’s great that you were able to recognise the warning signs @will! Actually, I think this is something we should discuss as a society…[Read more]

Omg @goldenrose !! I hope you came out of it okay! I’ve had a few friends who’ve had ‘accidental’ anal that way!
When they say you learn a new thing every day, they mean it. Frenulum. A word I’ll probably never use again. @will So glad your ..friend is okay after, what sounds like, quite a traumatic experience! Ahh, how does that even happen? I…[Read more]
@kitkat Omg, I didn’t even think about prep!! I wonder if you need an enema beforehand?? Hmm,,,,
@catdog @will Thank you so so much for your input!! TORPEDO BAY @will I’m screaming omg!! Ooh good point about the organs moving as you do, I didn’t even think about that but yeah a good position totally makes sense! Thank you so much for giving solid…[Read more]
This has been so interesting to read!! Thank you @tea for asking the question, and @will for answering so eloquently. I am drinking peppermint tea whilst reading this, which made me laugh.
This post has gotten me thinking about how scary it is when you have no idea about something sex-related and it isn’t always clear where to turn. Where was the…[Read more]
Thanks for sharing! And I definitely think it’s to do with each person’s personal experiences/expectations rather than cultures/ countries.(Reckon I titled this discussion wrong – sorry!)
I think this sums it up from Will:
I think sometimes even with the best availability of free STI testing in some countries, including…
