@stephaniaaaah I don’t actually celebrate Christmas! But I truly love the day because it is an excuse to shut out the world. I had lovely lunch with my family and made dumplings and watched movies. I was pretty blissed out too <3
There you go @EarthMama I didn’t start celebrating Christmas until I was about 21! But not as in the birth of christ – more just an opportunity to eat good food and buy myself presents 😀 Dumplings are life.
So wonderful @stephaniaaaah ! I once read about people who marked every festival/holiday from every culture and country they knew of and attempted to celebrate it in some way- through food, action or conversation. Celebration really has this exquisite way of breaking the monotony of every day life, which is clearly something we need more of in our culture!
