Okay so, I have herpes. Specifically, I have HSV-1 which means I get a ton of cold sores. I’ve just had one of the worst outbreaks ever, with a new sore appearing under my nose, literally!!
Anyway, the bad news is I’m limited to what kind of sexual activity I can engage in. I really want to perform oral sex on my partner, but obviously that is a big no-go at the moment while I have an active sore. They did suggest I use a vibrator on them while we were in the 69 position, and they performed oral sex on me – which was honestly such a great idea!! It was a good way to get around the whole herpes thing.
Have you ever had a cold sore interrupt your sex life? How did you overcome it? Do you have any ideas/tips to share?
