What is STI testing? STI testing is the process of running medical tests to check for any sexually transmitted infections (STIs). It is quick, easy, and confidential. Most STI tests only require a blood test and either a self-collected swab or a urine sample. Why is STI testing important? […]
It’s Valentine’s Day National Condom Day! It’s no coincidence that Valentine’s Day and National Condom Day fall on the same day… but in terms of which one we’re celebrating, well, that’s a no brainer. Here at Play Safe, we’ll take any excuse to celebrate condoms, but today, on National Condom […]

Home › Forums › Hanging Out › What I wish you knew about me
Hi all,
We’ve been chilling together for a bit and I thought it would be a good time to start a thread where we can get to know each other a little better. The idea is that we share three things that we want people to know about us but it can be three general things about yourself, like a typical social introduction, or it can be three things that you would want a potential partner to know – but maybe don’t want to say to them in person!
I think this could bring up some really interesting speed date-style introductions. Feel free to use yours on a speed date in future. I’ll start –
I wish you knew:
Love this idea! Ok, I wish you knew:
1. I will happily scrub toilets but I HATE doing the dishes.
2. I snore. Like, a lot. (sorry, future partner)
3. Coriander is the devil.
I’m tagging in @jackh to go next 🙂
BUMP! Anyone wanna give this a go?
Oh I like this thanks @ElleBelle
3 things:
– I can’t sleep without socks on
– I, also, hate coriander
– my dog is my best friend and sleeps on my bed so potential partners just be prepared to have a dog snoring all night
I’ll jump in!
3 things:
– I eat frozen peas, especially in summer or when I have a sore throat….
– I love TV shows such as NCIS (all of them), Hawaii Five-0 and I also watch Bold and the Beautiful (it’s so bad it’s good!)
– I’m a massive Disney fan!
Thanks for jumping in everyone! It’s great to get to know what makes you tick and learn about the coriander hate :p
@NickiPower Frozen peas sounds like a great summer snack. Is that something your family do or just you?
@jackh Omg I’m the same with socks, my feet are always freezing. :#
@ElleBelle So agree on dishes – that’s what dishwashers are for!!!
So this is me:
3 things:
– I hardly drink alcohol (probably less than 5 standard drinks in year)
– I starred in a 30min TV drama/documentary when I was a kid.
– I made my first ever batch of kimchi on the weekend.
Just me @kit! It’s quite delish!
Ohh @walk_on_walls – for a second I had kimchi and kombucha confused. Kimchi is the pickled cabbage right?
@NickiPower Well there you go TIL
Yup, fermented vegetables with ginger, garlic, chilli powder, and cabbage is very common.
Omg @walk_on_walls! What was the TV show about? You don’t have to give details if you’re not comfortable.
Oops, been off the forums a while. @Kit It was part of a series looking at different lives in Australia. I was in an episode about a young Asian kid growing up with his mum and sister.
@walk_on_walls Oh how intriguing! I’m addicted to that kind of TV documentary at the moment. Like have you ever seen or heard of the 7 Up series? A little bit different in premise but fascinating nonetheless.
@kit I haven’t heard of 7 up, but you might also like ‘Run’ on Netflix, which is also snapshots of life through individual stories.
I have heard of 7 Up ver yet interestingly series
