hello ladies
im wondering if this is another symptom of an infection or theres something wrong (havent got swabs back yet) but i get burnign sensation during my period and im wondering if anyone else get it and/or can explain it?
@Nurse_Nettie @MsBlueStreak @ElleBelle @NickiPower @Aunt_Flo
@unknown a burning sensation isn’t a normal part of having a period, but it’s not likely to be a sign of something very serious either. Thrush/candida is a common cause of those symptoms. If it’s not that, your nurse/doctor can give you advice about what else to do. Hope you get some relief soon!
Yeah its really uncomfortable @Nurse_Nettie
I tried the canesten cream as my gp suggested until the swabs csme back but it hasnt helped 🙁
I cant get in to see my gp until friday to get results back
Is there anything i can do until then as noe that my period is ending and is more yuk pretty sure its the old blood it burns even more
@unknown I’m sorry the cream hasn’t helped. You can try paracetamol or ibuprofen for pain relief, but otherwise it’s just a matter of following up with your doctor.
