Hey,
Check out this quiz on the female sexual anatomy here.
There’s some hard ones in there! But I was classed as a VAGENIUS!
I was pretty happy about that 😉
got only 9 correct.
@v4wanndii I got 9 too! I think for a man who identifies as gay….9 is pretty good! 😀
LOL I’m a VAGENIOUS!
Vagenious hahaha (I would hope so) Bet you a learnt a few things @v4wanndii @Lube_Man
Flashbacks to high school sex-ed! I got 8.
15/17. As a straight man its pretty comical that I got the Clitoras wrong. Some of the wording was a bit misleading like describing the pelvic bone as spongey
haha I got 6! I clearly don’t spend enough time down there.
I must need to get reaqcuainted with myself!! 😉
I found the graphic identifying the clitoris to be a bit misleading. The side view given certainly perpetrates the idea that the clitoris is tiny in its complete size when we now know that not to be true, right @Nurse_Nettie? Shout outs to the Australian urologist that finally mapped it out in its entirety. B)
You’re right @Kit! the clitoris is only the tip of the pleasure iceberg. It’s important to know this for stimulation. Some people like direct clitoral stimulation whereas others find it too intense & uncomfortable, preferring stimulation of shaft, crura & vestibular bulbs (on the upper right & left side of the labia minora) instead.
@nurse_nettie @kit I had no idea the clitoris was that big! This is amazing and wonderful! (You learn something new every single day!) I can’t believe it was erased from anatomy texts previously and called the woman’s shameful organ.
Yes @stephaniaaaah, women’s sexual pleasure has historically been devalued both culturally and even medically! The Cliteracy site provides some useful info against that narrative, thanks for sharing! The Labia Library is another great resource for demystifying female anatomy. Heterosexual women in particular may never see any vulva/labia besides their own and a perhaps a narrow representation in porn. The reality is the labia comes in many varied shapes, sizes and colours!
I’ve been watching Orange is the New Black this week and I love that there is such a diverse representation of body types, particularly in the shower room scenes. I agree with @Nurse_Nettie – I don’t get to see many other women’s bodies in general, let alone vulvas, aside from my own and movies/porn.
