Home › Forums › Sexual Health › Chlamydia – First hand experiences?
A lot of people in my friend groups have had Chlamydia before. I was wondering whether anyone here has had first hand experiences with Chlamydia. It’s a very common STI, and I was wondering what did it feel like? Did you notice it immediately? Did you treat it?
Hi @potplant!
Great question. I can’t talk from first hand experience, but a lot of people I know have also been diagnosed before. Most of them it came as a bit of a shock, as they hadn’t had any symptoms, and just found out by getting a test. A couple of them said they had unusual symptoms, or something that didn’t feel right, after having had unprotected sex, so went for a check up.
After the initial shock they were all pretty ok with it – especially as its so easy to treat!
