    Hey everyone,

Am keen to know what everyone thinks about consent being mandatory within the education program across NSW and VIC schools? Anyone know more specifics, or have thoughts about it?

    Hey @curiousgal

This is a super important topic! The only consent education i ever received in school was super basic (No means No) and didn’t cover anything in the grey area, like “it is ok to change your mind at any point”.

From the looks of things this discussion still has not advanced very far over the past decade, as Consent Curriculum, provided by the VIC govt, is at the discretion of the individual educator.

It seems that pop-culture is actually playing a bigger part in consent education – Tik Tok / Netflix shows and movies / social movements.

Would love to know if anyone in school right now feels like they are getting a proper education on Consent??
