So I’ve been working out at for a while now lifting weights. I’m not amazing but I go alright. My max for a deadlift is 90kgs atm. The other day the trainer at the gym suggested I go in a weight lifting comp. I’m not sure thought. Thoughts? Anyone ever been in one?

If a trainer suggested it I’d go for it! Even if you don’t place, you’ll at least have the experience of doing it and you can suss out if it’s something you want to pursue.

@mak_trouble891That’s amazing to be asked…congrats! Afraid I have no practical weight lifting advice to offer though. The heaviest weight I lift is a cup of coffee  😀
