Aboriginal Health Workers assist Aboriginal people to have a safe patient journey through the Health Service. Aboriginal Health Workers can help with support, guidance, education and advice, language interpretations, health promotion, prevention and education, 48hr follow-up, referrals and links to other services including doctors and other community services.
