Uncircumcised

Description of a penis that has not had the foreskin surgically removed.

Urinary Tract Infection (UTI)

A bacterial infection of the urinary tract which can include the bladder, urethra and kidneys. It commonly causes an uncomfortable sensation of needing to urinate frequently and pain passing urine. It is curable with antibiotics. It is not an STI.

Vagina

The passageway between the cervix and the vulva. It has many functions: it allows menstrual blood, vaginal fluid, and a fetus or baby to leave the body; it is the way sperm enters the body to enable pregnancy; it can be a site of sexual pleasure with penetration of a penis, sex toy or fingers.

Vaginal Intercourse

Sex in which a penis or sex toy enters the vagina.

Vanilla

Slang for conventional / non-kinky sexual activity.

Vibrator

An electrically powered sex toy, often in the shape of a penis, that applies vibrations to sex organs or other erogenous zones for sexual stimulation.

Virginity

Virginity means never having had sex, but sex can be defined many ways. Virginity is a cultural idea, not a physiological condition.

Wet Dreams

Ejaculation in men and lubrication in women while sleeping as a result of erotic dreams. See "nocturnal emission."

Withdrawal

Pulling the penis out of the vagina before ejaculation in order to avoid pregnancy. It is a less reliable form of birth control and does not protect against STIs.
