So glad it was a positive experience @curious!
That urge to pee can sometimes be a precursor to an orgasm or squirting – but it can also mean you might have a full bladder! When I can, I try to go to the bathroom beforehand so I can relax and have more comfortable sex.

Hey @curious, I’m so glad you and your partner had a positive experience!
On the off chance that the problem with doggie style was a queef (also horribly known as a ‘fanny fart’) I just wanted to say that this is normal. If it’s helpful, there’s a few things in this thread you might like to read: Wish you knew

Thanks for sharing @curious, I’m glad it was a positive experience for you both – and high five for using a condom!
A bit of pain and bleeding it normal the first time you have sex, and it may still be a bit sore the first couple of times. Everyone’s vagina is a little bit different, so if you have a shorter vagina or your bf has a long penis, the sensation you feel in your stomach may be his penis hitting your cervix, or bouncing against your bladder. None of those are bad things, but if they feel uncomfortable take it slow and don’t be afraid to let him know you want to change positions.
It’s fine if you don’t feel comfortable performing oral sex on your partner yet. You don’t have to go full porno and put his whole penis in your mouth, oral sex includes just licking and kissing too.

hi @curious – im doing well!
yeah sex on your period isn’t for everyone – who knows though your tastes might change with time. As a guy I don’t know about that feeling other than knowing I’ve heard girls say the same in the past. I suppose closing the legs just changes the shape/angle of the vagina/insertion so it just touches different spots. Lot’s of people prefer it with legs closed or bent etc. As long as you both enjoy it bend your legs any which way you both like 🙂

I used to get an uncomfortable feeling in my belly as well – nothing painful, sort of ~funny~ like when you hit your funny bone. I found out it was because he was hitting my cervix. Changing sex positions, and relaxing a bit more has helped that, and unless we have sex on a bit of a funny angle, it doesn’t happen too much anymore.
Opening, closing, and stretching your legs can make it feel different as well.
